A major Heritage Lottery Fund project – the refurbishment of Manchester Central Library and creation of the Archives+ visitor experience.

Figment created the Archives+ digital experience which consisted of a bespoke database and Content Management System allowing customisation of all content – every word and every image – across over 40 AV/interactive exhibits. These exhibits, which Figment also produced, included: a large 3×3 touch wall, a multi-user interactive table, a ‘Magic Book’ (a physical book augmented by projection), a film of a talking ghost librarian, and a virtual postcard sender.
