BRAINS’ ATOMIC ADVENTURES APP

The brief was to produce a desktop and mobile app to inspire 9-12 year olds to choose science and technology subjects at school.

As part of our long-standing partnership with Engage, we jointly undertook a period of research which included visits to school classrooms, interviewing children in the target age range, and produced a scoping document. The final recommendation was to create a hybrid game/comic book building on our previous work with Engage developing BAE Systems’ character, Brains the Robot. The final app was based around a comic book story and featured 3 separate game mechanics.
